The FavroniVerse: A New Hope for Star Wars?
[Devildoc_868]
For the first time in a long time, since Star Wars fans heard the opening line “There has been an awakening,” Star Wars fans are excited, and united. And for good reason.
Star Wars executives once claimed that it was impossible to please the old fan base, while appealing to, and drawing in new crowds. After the integration of Star Wars and Disney, thousands of pages of lore became Legends. And viewers were left with a Mashup of directors, talent, writers and stories. A convoluted mess that left us with more questions than pleasure.
45 minutes of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni jumping behind the controls proved them wrong.
An obscure unknown character. Callbacks, Easter eggs, amazing writing, (mostly) top notch CGI, and the introduction of a force wielding, frog eating, ever expressive Baby Yoda…The Mandalorian opened up an entire new side to a universe far, far away.
The season 2 finale left us on a cliffhanger.
As well as the promise of more tales from our favorite universe.
The Book of Boba Fett, Season Three of Mandalorian, the Ahsoka Tano Spin Off, The Alcolyte, and many more shows are coming.
We were teased with major name drops, like Grand Admiral Thrawn, one of the most dangerous threats to The New Republic. Jedi once thought lost to Legends have been found, and seem to be making their live action appearances soon.
What are your thoughts? What show are you looking forward to most? And what characters would you like to see introduced in The Mandalorian Season Three?
