I’m sure any diversely experienced gamer will agree with me on this FACT.
The HALO video game series has ultimately and undoubtedly the best looking (and most diverse) game world. I mean c’mon, some of the levels take place on HALO rings. For those that have played the game(s), you know how environmentally detailed these levels are.
Lets think about this for a second…
Artificial worlds, built in the shape of rings, that are actually weapons of mass destruction designed to eradicate all sentient life in the universe.

The Silent Cartographer, located on Installation 04 or Alpha HALO.

This map is also in the first HALO game (Halo: Combat Evolved). The first…so just think about all the work they put into the total of 11 HALO titles.
Keep in mind that each ring is a host to its own biomes, creatures, etc.
And not even just the HALO rings, but even the maps on the different planets in the game are freaking SICK!

Just look at the variety. I would paste more but I’d probably have 100’s of different pictures up here.
I would be lying if I said that the HALO series was not equipped with the best looking maps and environments.
